Descriptions of the classes offered at the studio



Pilates



A stretch and flexibility class based on the work of Joseph Pilates, emphasizing support of deep-lying abdominals, muscular balance and joint articulation. The muscles are strengthened and elongated without creating bulk.

* In order to take part in Pilates mat classes, you need to have one to one, semi-private or a series of "basic principles classes" first. This policy will be strictly enforced. After that you may come to any of the Pilates classes.

"Rolling" Pilates





The versatile foam roller - traditionally a therapeutic tool adds a new dimension to your mat pilates routine.

This exciting new Pilates class incorporates a fitness ball to add additional versatility and effectiveness to your workout.

The Kripalu YOGA Experience



Kripalu Yoga will do more than make you flexible and strong. It is a unique way to integrate body, mind and spirit through opening to the wisdom of your body. By using gentle stretches, postures (asanas), focused breathing, meditation and relaxation techniques, the mind begins to quiet. The result is a feeling of calm, greater focus, joyfulness and overall well-being.

Some other benefits include - stretching and toning muxcles, release of chronic tension, stimulating the immune system, connecting with your Self, and encouraging self-acceptance. Everybody can learn Kripalu yoga, so why not give it a try.

Body Sculpting / Ballet Barre



No holds barred in this workout session devoted to abdominals, buttocks, hips & thighs. With use of light weights to tone and add definition to arms, shoulders & back. All Levels.

30 min Creative Core



A blend of traditional abdominal exercises and pilates.

Better Bottoms



Spot Specific Exercises Toning the muscles from the belly button down. All Levels!

Candle Light Stretching



You will strengthen, isolate, and stretch every muscle of the body in this fuctional and effective workout. Release stress and tension through utilization of deep breathing and visualization. All Levels!

Cardio Bosu



Prepare to perspire when balance and cardio blend. "Bosu" is essentially an exercise ball and balance board all in one!! Flat on one side ... domed on the other.
